How to Eat Clean, Stay Lean, and Still Love Your Food!
So I was working the other day with a client who was transitioning away from processed foods and struggling.
She said, “I know I could lose weight faster and easily if I could just find a way to make eating clean taste better!”
“Dr. Steve please help me replace my cravings for processed foods with whole foods that taste fantastic. I really want to enjoy my food, still lose weight and not feel like I am on a diet.”
I am sharing this tale of woe because I know a lot of you are in the same boat. So don’t feel alone and don’t worry! I have a quick and easy fix for this very common problem that unfortunately shoots down a lot of folks’ ambitions to ditch the unwanted body fat and extra pounds.
BTW, did you know that 100 million Americans try a new diet and exercise plan as much as 4-5 times in one year without success? I think they need to know about BFI-What do you think?
So tell your friends and family to join the BFI Warriors so we can help more people get healthy and trim. I bet they are really tired of monkeying around with their diet and exercise and would really appreciate knowing how to finally lose weight and experience lasting transformation-Here’s the link: Belly Fat Inferno
…And please remind everyone to sign up for their free gift when you send them there.
So back to the task at hand-I promised I would show you how to eat healthy real food and love the taste! Here is a hint and let’s see if you can second guess my next paragraph!
You might remember learning in history class that the new world was discovered looking for an oceanic trade route to India. The explorers were not in search of precious metals. They actually were much more interested in the highly valued and extremely flavorful Indian herbs and spices.
Ok well you guessed it-my big secret to really enjoying your food and still losing weight is… drumroll please…..to become a spice-meister! In particular you want to become familiar and experiment with the tantalizing exotic flavors of Indian spices-You are going to love them! I sprinkle them on everything from salads to quinoa. They add flavor to every vegetable I can think of. Try different amounts and combinations and tell me and share your favorites!
Here are the more common Indian Spices-and they are easy to find:
coriander
cumin
turmeric
yellow curry
red curry
cardamom
ground mustard seed
salt, black peppercorns, ground
However the most prized is called Garam Masala and is actually a tasty blend of 9 dry-roasted and ground Indian spices.
You can find it in Indian stores, Trader Joes, Whole Foods Market, health food stores-Or if you want to make your own big batch and save it for months, here is how:
This is from a cool site I found the other day and you might want to go visit it for more great ideas and recipes: http://allrecipes.com/
